Contract with CEN for the daily management of the KEYMARK renewed for another 4 years!
We are pleased to inform you that as a result of a positive assessment by the interested parties within the KEYMARK sysmte the service contract with DIN CERTCO as KMO was renewed.
The KEYMARK is the European quality mark for products and services based on the concept "Tested and certified once, accepted everywhere!"Introduction
The KEYMARK is a voluntary European quality mark allowing market operators to identify which products and services conform to the relevant European Standards. It is a third-party certification system as defined in ISO/IEC 17067 and property of CEN and CENELEC, but operated by accredited certification bodies and testing laboratories. Since it was launched in 2002, the KEYMARK has been successfully developed for certain product groups, notably in relation to the construction sector, and offers opportunities for market penetration in other areas.
CEN had decided to outsource the daily and administrative management (not the ownership) of the KEYMARK to DIN CERTCO as an external organization. Following an positive assessment of DIN CERTCOs work of the past two years by the interested parties, CEN decided to renew the service contract with DIN CERTCO now for another 4 years.
The service contract has been signed in 2019-12 and DIN CERTCO will be again the central contact point for all questions relating to the KEYMARK in the domain of CEN, the KEYMARK website (www.keymark.eu) and the CEN KEYMARK database (www.certificates.keymark.eu), and responsible for the overall coordination between the various KEYMARK schemes and the certification bodies and testing laboratories operating within these KEYMARK schemes.
