Keymark Management Organization (KMO)

As of 1st January 2026, ETICS Aisbl will assume the role of the new Keymark Management Organisation.

Following an open call for tender launched in spring 2025, a selection procedure was carried out, resulting in the decision, taken in mid-October 2025, to appoint ETICS as the Keymark Management Organisation (KMO) on behalf of CEN/CENELEC.

Existing Keymark services, procedures, and certifications will continue without interruption.

The rights and duties of KMO are as follows:

Administration

  • Empowerment of certification bodies
  • Decisions on new Keymark certification schemes
  • Keep the CEN/CENELEC database updated
  • Monitoring and collection of the license fees
  • Regularly report and proposals to CEN/CENELEC Board

Management

  • Expansion and strategic development of the Keymark
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Support in legal protection of Keymark
  • Experience exchange with interested parties
