The Insulation KEYMARK Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) meeting took place at Munich, Germany, from 13:00 to 17:00 on the 18th of October 2022 with 36 participants (22 members were on-site in Munich) from 11 different countries.
There was a balanced participation of all Insulation KEYMARK stakeholders (Manufactures, Registered Laboratories, Empowered Certification bodies). It was a successful meeting and a great opportunity for Insulation KEYMARK members to meet in person to discuss current challenges and future actions for a better promotion of the Scheme. The Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) with its Scheme-Development-Group 5 (SDG-5) is the European certification committee of the Insulation VDI / KEYMARK certification scheme. The certification committee brings together the interested parties like manufacturers, Testing Laboratories and Certification Bodies, active in the field of thermal insulation products and is responsible for drafting the specific scheme rules that apply for KEYMARK certification of thermal insulation products. The KEYMARK for thermal insulation products provides a means for the demonstration of conformity to quality levels.
